Tandra
started singing at a young age, around 10. Her favorite pass-time
was singing songs on the Motown label. Songs by Minnie Ripperton,
The Moments, The Dells, Smokey Robinson and The Jackson 5. Around
age 16 Tandra started singing in Church and sang with a few
local groups.
Singing was put on hold when Tandra went to college. Tandra
earned her to degree in Management Information Systems from
Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville. After graduation
she moved to Houston, TX where she sang in Church and with a
local band.
In 1998 she returned to St. Louis and became a singer on the
Grace Church worship team, and for a brief time was a member
of the band Dr. Zhivegas.
Singing was put on hold once more when she returned to college
for a Master Degree. Tandra received a Masters in Business Administration
from Washington University, Executive MBA program. While in
the Graduate program, classmates learned of Tandra's singing
ability. One of her classmates introduced her to Bill Gabriel,
lead guitar player for City Heat.
