Doron Shapiro Doron Shapiro started playing bass at 15 and has continued his pursuit of music since that time. He played violin in grade school and junior high school, and studied music theory with Duke Michalak. Recently he has taken up 5 string bass both freted and fretless. "I got the fretless because it's hard to play." Doron also does recording projects based in his residential sound studio. Doron has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, is a licensed engineer in Missouri, and is a senior research and development engineer at the world's largest manufacturer of commercial refrigeration products.
